Our Females

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

Posha

(Retired)

Posha was and will always be, the Queen Bee here at Sully Creek as well as in our hearts.  She reigned with a calm, collected leadership and taught every one of her daughters we held back, what it mean to be the perfect family-dog.  With a medium energy drive and perfect manners, she was always ready for a run, game of fetch or a snuggle on the couch.  We miss our sweet girl gravely, but her memory will forever live on through us and her two daughters, Tango and Sheila who live here with us at Sully Creek.

Tango

Tango was our keeper puppy from a Posha X Samson cross and I couldn’t ask for a better girl to carry on Posha’s bloodlines. Posha is an intelligent and loyal Aussie, she loves our children and absolutely enjoys being a part of our daily activities and in this, Tango, mimics her Mama to a T. She is always ready to trot beside our gator and follow us around the yard for morning chores but just as happy to lay by our childrens’ feet when it’s homework time. She also inherited her sire’s lower energy drive and can be outright lazy (for an Aussie!) which we also love! She has a beautiful blend of working and show lines that has produced a very sweet, calm disposition. She’s our favorite dog to take with us to events or even just a feed store trip, she loves and greets everyone; adults, children, other dogs, she greets everyone with her smile and gentle presence.

Tango has thrown some beautiful litters for us from which we’ve held back two of her girls, Sasha and Maya. Keep an eye out for future litters from these two, they are as flashy as they are sweet!

Tango has been certified and cleared by the OFA for hip and elbow dysplasia.

Tango is Registered with AKC and ASCA

She is Red Factored

Sheila

Sheila was born here at Sully Creek Aussies, out of Posha and Swayze. With beautiful conformation and her soft almond eyes, we knew she was a keeper from the very beginning. We’ve enjoyed watching her grow and were blessed with her first litter this past Summer. Sheila has a lively personality, mid level energy range, and extreme biddability; this girl lives to please and be by our sides! We have big plans for her and look forward to what is to come.

Sheila has a clear genetic panel and has been certified and cleared by the OFA for hip and elbow dysplasia.

Sheila is AKC and ASCA registered.

Maya

Maya is a female we held back from Tango’s first litter, when she was crossed with our male, Bosch. While she did inherit Tango’s sweet demeanor and presence, she could be her sire’s twin, aside from her baby blues. Her beautiful, liver red coloring is one of my all time favorite shades on an Aussie, and coupled with her striking color and copper points, this girl is outright flashy! She has a medium to low energy drive with great biddability.

Sasha

Our Sasha came to us exactly when we needed her most. In December of 2022, we lost the cornerstone of Sully Creek, our Posha. This was an absolutely devastating time for our entire family, Posha had lived with us for 9 years and in that time, she was truly everything we could ever have asked for, in an Aussie. She was intuitive, loyal, cheeky and so intelligent. She raised the bar to an impossible and unfair level, for all other dogs, and she made it look easy the entire time.

At the time of her passing, Posha’s daughter Tango, was pregnant. On the evening of her delivery, before any puppy was born, I asked Posha to send some of her down to us in one of Tango’s puppies, one that we could keep back and remember her through. I truly believe she did. Out of the eight color and gender combinations that could have arrived, Tango’s first puppy born was a little red merle, female; just like Posha and we knew then and there, she’d be staying right here. We named her Sasha, and though she has quite her own personality, Posha shines through her every day.

Sasha is AKC and ASCA registered.

Raven

Raven is one of our up and coming females, she is from outside lines though has some similar to ours, a little farther back in her pedigree. She comes from larger sized standards, both in height and bone, and she herself has a beautiful headset. Looking forward to watching this sweet girl, grow!

Jolene

Jolene is our newest Sully Creek gal.  Instantly winning our hearts, she has been one of the easiest puppies to work with and train. With a medium energy drive and a yearning to learn, she is quickly on her way to earning her Novice Trick Dog title with the AKC.  Jolene also has strong conformation show lines in her pedigree as well BET lines. She is a standard and is AKC and ASCA registered.

Layla

(Retired)

So many things can be said about this sweet girl.  Layla has a calm and passive demeanor, especially for an Australian Shepherd.  On or off leash, at home, in a store or on the road Layla will calmly stay by our side.  She is true to the Aussie nature, never overly friendly with strangers but happy to accept them once we have given the okay, she is everything that could be asked of an Aussie.  She possesses athleticism, intuition and intelligence and has passed these traits down to her offspring tenfold.  Several of her puppies are certified therapy dogs, another is competing in agility and yet another is herding goats in the West while the rest are cherished family pets.  This girl never disappoints!  Layla is AKC registered.
